Abstract
Türk tezhip sanatının farklı kültür ve sosyal etkilerle birlikte yol aldığını ve geliştiğini söylemek mümkündür. Tezhip sanatı farklı üslup ve ekollerle yorumlandığında, icra ediliş biçiminde formların önemi ortaya çıkmaktadır. Makalede, tezhip sanatında kullanılan bu formların dönemler içerisinde ne şekilde uygulandığı ve değiştiğini ortaya çıkarmak ve incelemek esas olacaktır. Buna ek olarak, tezhip sanatında kullanılan formların bu sanata olan etkisi ve gelişimine olan katkısı ele alınacaktır. Türk tezhip sanatında en erken dönemden günümüze kadar uygulanan formların farklı, geniş bir yelpazeye dayandığını söylemek mümkündür. Geçmiş dönemlerde uygulanan tezhipler ile günümüz tezhipleri arasında form ve tasarım yönünden ne tür farklılıkların olduğu örneklerle değerlendirilecektir. Araştırmada, tezhip sanatındaki uygulamaların desen aşamasından önce tasarımın oluşmasında formların ne derecede öneminin olduğu sorusu öne çıkacaktır. Bu makalede, tezhip sanatında form odaklı tasarımların tezhip sanatkarları tarafından bu sanatın güncel ihtiyaçlarına cevap verebilmesine yönelik tavırları, günümüz ihtiyaç ve beğenileri doğrultusunda tasarım, biçim ve uygulama alanlarına katkı verebilecek tasarım örneklerinden oluşacaktır.

Abstract
It is possible to say that Turkish illumination art has progressed and developed with different cultural and social influences. When the interpretation of the art of illumination with different styles and schools is considered, the importance of the forms in the way it is performed becomes evident. In this article, it will be essential to reveal and examine how these forms used in the art of illumination were applied and changed over the periods. In addition, the impact of the forms used in the art of illumination and their contribution to its development will be discussed. It is possible to say that the forms applied in Turkish illumination art from the earliest period to the present are based on a wide range of different forms. What kind of differences there are in terms of form and design between the illuminations applied in the past and today's illuminations will be evaluated with examples. In the research, the question of how important the forms are in the formation of the design before the pattern stage of the applications in the art of illumination will come to the fore. In the article, the attitudes of the illumination artists towards the form-oriented designs in the art of illumination to meet the current needs of this art will consist of design examples that can contribute to the design, form and application areas in line with today's needs and acclaims.
