Abstract
Stefan Zweig ist einer der berühmtesten Schrifstellern, der auf der ganzen Welt bekannt ist. Er hinterlieβ der Welt viele Novellen und Romane, die in der Literatur einen bedeutenden Wert haben. Daher, dass er das Nazi Rejime sehr eindrucksvoll erlebte, brachte er viele Bücher heraus, die dass Geschehnisse in indirekte Form erzählten. Einer der Novellen ist die wichtigste, nämlich die Schachnovelle, die auf der ganzen Welt zahlreich übersetzt wurde. Wir werden uns in diesem Beitrag über Stefan Zweigs Schachnovelle und deren Verfilmung aus der Sichtweise des Klischees und Vorurteils auseinandersetzen und eine detaillierte und spezifische Untersuchung machen. Hierbei werden durch einige Beispiele die Klischees und Vorurteile miteinander verglichen bzw. analysiert.

Stefan Zweig is one of the most famous writers known all over the world. He left the world a lot of novels and short stories that have a significant value in literature. Due to the fact that he experienced the Nazi Rejime very impressively, he published many books that told the events in an indirect form. One of the novels is the most important novel the Chess Story which has been translated numerous times all over the world. In this article we will deal with Stefan Zweig's Chess Story and its film adaptation from the point of view of the cliche and prejudice and make a detailed and specific investigation. Here, the stereotypes and prejudices are compared or analyzed with each other by some examples.
