Abstract
Bu çalışmanın temel amacı öğretmenlerin motivasyon düzeylerini bazı değişkenler açısından incelemektir. Bu bağlamda öğretmenlerin motivasyonunun yaş, cinsiyet, öğretim kademesi, mesleki kıdem ve yöneticilerinin cinsiyet değişkenlerine göre istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık gösterip göstermediği incelenmiştir. Araştırma anket yöntemi ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmanın örneklemini İstanbul ili Esenler ilçesinde görev yapan 322 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Veriler " Okul Müdürlerinin Tutum ve Davranışlarının Öğretmen Motivasyonuna Etkisi Ölçeği" ile toplanmıştır. Veriler SPSS paket programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Aeaştırma sonuçlarına göre öğretmenlerin motivasyon düzeylerinin genel olarak yüksek olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Bir diğer sonuç ise katılımcıların cinsiyet ve yönetici türü değişkenlerine göre istatistiksel olarak bir fark bulunmamasına rağmen öğretim kademesi ve mesleki kıdem değişkenlerine göre istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark olduğudur.

Abstract
The main purpose of this study was to examine teachers' motivation levels regarding some variables. In this regard, it was examined whether teachers’ motivation has shown statistically significant difference regarding teachers’ age, gender, teaching level, professional seniority and their administrator’s gender variables. The research was carried out with survey method. The sample of the study consists of 322 teachers working in the Esenler district of Istanbul, Turkey. The data were collected with “The Effect of Attitudes and Behaviors of School Principals on Teachers' Motivation Scale”. The data were analyzed using the SPSS package program. Research results reveal that teachers’ motivation level is found to be high in general. Another result reveals that although there is not a statistically difference was discovered regarding the participants’ gender and administrator type variables, there was a statistically significant difference regarding teaching level and professional seniority variables.
