Abstract
İsmet Özel’in şiir yolculuğunun omurgasını oluşturan Erbain’de ben; şairin kimlik inşasını, dünya ile kurduğu ilişkileri, ideolojik dönüşümlerini ve İslamî kimliğe yönelişini açımlayan öznenin varoluşsal durumunu simgeler. Onun şiirlerinde ben; çocukluk ve ilk gençlik yıllarının bedene sıkışmış öznesinden Marksist dönemin ideolojisiyle keskinleşen politik öznesine, geçiş yıllarının ontolojik boşlukla yüz yüze kalan arayış içindeki öznesinden İslamî dünya görüşü içinde yerini bulan sorumluluk bilinciyle derinleşmiş olgun özneye doğru çok katmanlı bir görünüm arz eder. Bu açıdan çalışmada; Erbain’deki şiirler, psikanalitik okuma ve fenomenolojik inceleme yöntemleri eşliğinde metin merkezli bir yaklaşımla analiz edilmeye çalışılacaktır. Erbain’deki şiirlere ontolojik bir yaklaşım denemesi olan bu çalışma, ben’in farklı görüngülerini açımlarken hem şairin şiir dünyasına sinen portresini netleştirecek hem de çağdaş Türk şiirinde özne-ben bağdaşımına dair okuma süreçleri geliştirecektir.

Abstract
In Erbain, which forms the backbone of İsmet Özel's poetic journey, the self symbolises the existential condition of the subject, revealing the poet's identity construction, his relationships with the world, his ideological transformations and his turn towards an Islamic identity. In his poems, the self presents a multi-layered appearance, ranging from the subject confined to the body in childhood and early youth to the political subject sharpened by the ideology of the Marxist period; from the subject in search facing ontological emptiness in the transitional years to the mature subject deepened by a sense of responsibility found within the Islamic worldview. From this perspective, this study will attempt to analyze the poems in Erbain using a text-centered approach accompanied by psychoanalytic reading and phenomenological analysis methods. This study, which attempts an ontological approach to the poems in Erbain, will both clarify the portrait of the poet that permeates his poetic world while revealing the different manifestations of the self and will develop reading processes regarding the subject-self relationship in contemporary Turkish poetry.
