There is a system that organizes the structure of poetry, and that is aesthetic judgment. Therefore, it is seen that the fundamental element that determines the direction of movement in poetry is the poem's aesthetic judgment, and that signs are arranged in their proper place under its guidance. This study, drawing on Yaşar Nabi Nayır's poem “Ox Cart Creaking Sound”, attempts to demonstrate that the structure of poetry consists of meaningful units and layers. The transition from the implicature to the inference stage in poetry is established through signs, progressing guided by the fundamental aesthetic judgment, and the process of meaning is thus contingent upon this. The “Ox Cart Creaking Sound” attracted the poet's attention and inspired his poem. Again, the connection he established with this sound formed his impression and aesthetic judgment of it. What is presented in the poem is actually the vocalization of the basic emotion that occurs in line with the poet's perceptions, or the sound of communication established silently through the voice heard. Therefore, in the context of the poet's impression of its object, the pieces in the poem are articulated, and with these combined pieces, a poetic whole emerges to express an aesthetic judgment. Thus, we come across the equivalent of a sound in the poet's mind and the existence of poetry woven from the signs that emerge.
