Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine validity and reliability of the Turkish version of the Interpersonal Electronic Surveillance Scale (Lukacs & Qann Haase, 2015). Participants were 246 adult people. The results of confirmatory factor analysis indicated that the unidimensional structure of Turkish version of Electronic Surveillance Scale provided a good fit to data (x²= 136.74, df= 40, RMSEA= .099, CFI= .97, IFI= .97, GFI= .91, SRMR= .025). Cronbach’s alpha internal consistency reliability coefficient was .97. Findings demonstrated that this scale is a valid and reliable instrument.
