THE EFFECTS OF INTERACTIVE SOCIAL STUDIES STUDENT WORKBOOK ON STUDENTS’ CONCEPT PERCEPTEPTIONS ETKİLEŞİMLİ SOSYAL BİLGİLER ÖĞRENCİ ÇALIŞMA KİTABININ ÖĞRENCİLERİN KAVRAM ALGILAMALARINA ETKİSİ
Student workbook is a teaching material that helps students to gain knowledge and ability in the direction of the objectives in curriculums. In learning environments using technological products such as computer and internet removes these barriers. Making student workbook electronic via computer widens its limits and by addressing more senses, makes learning easy. The aim of this study is to prepare and implement elementary school fourth grade Social Studies workbook in interaction, and to examine its effects on students’ concept perceptions. Software that was used is multiple file supported and web based. In the study, pre-test post test nonequivalentcontrol group quasi experimental model was used. Data collection tool, which consisted of open ended questions, was developed by the researcher. Data analyzed with descriptive analysis and content analysis methods.At the end of the study, it could be said that experimental group students could comprehend and explain more in comparing with the control group.
