Sample of this study consists of 20 healthy athletes playing in İTÜ Stars and İTÜ Stars B Male Basketball team. In order to measure the level of Learned Helplessness of the players, “Learned Helplessness Scale in Team Sports” developed by Baikoğlu (2013) has been used. Aerobic performances of the basketball players were measured by a 20-meter shuttle run test. In addition, in order to determine the minutes played by the players in league games, athletes who played in the games for more than 70% of the total minutes, and those who played for less than 70% of the total minutes were identified based on the 24 games played in the league. No significant difference was found in the lower scales and total scores of the learned helplessness scale (p>0.05). While no significant difference was observed on the lower scales of the learned helplessness scale according to the shuttle run (p>0.05); athletes with a shuttle run of 75 and more have obtained higher scores compared to those with a shuttle run of less than 75.
