Abstract

In Today’s World, Globalization, technology, competition and customer demands are most important change reasons which business come up against. Specially, technology and competition cause pressure on business. New method and techniques, mechanisation, productivity, reproductivity goals, value creation in competition cause pressure on business workers. Actually, this pressure’s name is work stress. Stress is important psycho social factor in work life and it confront humans in almost all cases. Especially, management mentality, attitude and behaviours, politics effect business worker’s stress levels. Occupational health and safety activations are the most management politic in business. The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of occupational health and safety politics on the business worker’s stress level and relationship between demographic characteristics and stress. The sample of this study is the whole employees of a business which selected randomly in Kocaeli. Survey method was be used as research method. The results of the survey which was implemented to participants who was selected with simple random sampling was be analyzed with the program of SPSS.
