Abstract

Psychological contract violations arise as a result of not fulfilling the promises of one of the parties regarding the psychological contracts used to express the parties' wishes on the expectations, mutual obligations and values that determine the relationship of employment between the organization and its employees. As a result of these violations, the level of job satisfaction and motivation of employees may decrease, their organizational commitment may weaken, their burnout, and their intention to leave may increase. Is there any effect of fair, honest managers who are acting in accordance with the professional ethical principles, laws and regulations when they reach the organizational goals in order to avoid these negativities? The main purpose of this study is to establish the relationship between ethical leadership behaviors and psychological contract violations. It has been examined whether the behavior of managers in accordance with ethical values can prevent the psychological contract violations. It is also examined whether there is a difference between the levels of impact on ethical leaders (operational and relational) by psychological contract types. For this purpose, a questionnaire was conducted and data were collected and analyzed by using the SPSS program.
