Abstract

The place of communication in human life is indisputable. We know that a great majority of our lives are spent in working life and we are in touch with a lot of people during this time. The effect of communication taking place within the organization on the adoption of organization's goals and its achievement is very important. For this reason, it is necessary to establish a healthy communication and to determine the factors that impede communication within the organization. In this study, we have attempted to determine what kind and what level of influence the expression of the anger in the employees has on the intra-organizational communication. In this context, 90 staff members working in the Sungurlu Municipality have been selected as population and a questionnaire form has been applied to this entire population. The obtained data have been analyzed in the SPSS 16.00 program and some relations have been determined between the intra-organizational communication and the anger expression style in the employees. According to findings, a weak relationship has been identified between anger outward and anger control dimensions and horizontal communication (intra- organizational communication dimension) on the positive side in terms of anger expression style dimensions.
