Like other great cultures, Arabic culture has an important heritage in terms of folk melodies. Since Arabic geography is made up of many different regions and dialects, and each region has its own melodies, it has a far richer heritage. In this context, it is necessary to analyze and research this rich heritage of Arabic folk melodies, which vary both throughout the country and among cities. This research aims to reveal and classify the characteristic structure of the Arabic folk melodies of the Damascus region, which includes Syria, Jordan and Palestine, which contain many cultural elements.
