Abstract

It is known that the symbolic traces of the motifs in the Turkish mythical epics include the diversity and significance of the mythological features. Shamanism showed itself in the frame of belief, and it was found that the traces of the traces were taken behind Islam. It can be said that the horse and the hero are in a complementary structure and exist in a totality. In this study, it was tried to determine the place of unusual features such as horse sanctity, color, heroic power, identification with human, flight, advice and recommendation, preservation, etc. in Turkish culture, and comparison was made on the horse motif from Turkish-Greek mythical epics. It has been tried to draw attention to the similarities of these characteristics of horse motif to human typology.
