Abstract

Painting art is an art form that brings expression from the past to the day-to-day, in the frame of certain aesthetic concerns of emotions and thoughts. The art of painting, an art form, is presented to art lovers with exhibition events. Exhibitions aiming to meet art lovers are very important. The exhibitions are an activity that combines the favorite artists and works with the audience. Painting exhibitions usually include canvas works, charcoal works or print painting art works. One of the reasons for the realization of the exhibitions is the marketing of works. Art marketing is also an important factor for this reason. The work can be the influence of the artist who is one of the reasons for marketing, or the influence of the work. In this study, it is wanted to explain how artworks are marketed and how they are marketed in art exhibitions. Art marketing is an important task in bringing the art work produced by the artist, the creator of the work, to the buyer, the audience and the society in general. The aim of this study is to reveal points of viewtowards each other of the actors in the sector more clearly by examining production and consumption of the the art from the perspective of the marketing.
