AN APPLICATION FOR LENDING RISK ANALYSIS IN THE CONVENTIONAL AND PARTICIPATION BANKS BY FUZZY LOGIC METHOD BULANIK MANTIK METODUYLA KONVENSİYONEL VE KATILIM BANKALARINDA KREDİLENDİRME RİSK ANALİZİNE YÖNELİK BİR UYGULAMA
Commercial credits are one of the most common source types that business firms benefit. In our economic system, banks are one of the most basic building blocks that offer commercial credit. Banks attach great importance to evaluation criteria in order not to be exposed to bad credit risk due to the large number of credit request. However, credits for banks are always a risk. Banks are looking at the financial statements to minimize the risk before issuing the credits they are required to issue. Here, each criterion establishes risk criteria for each bank. These criteria are different for conventional and participations banks in the process of evaluation. In this study, Fuzzy TOPSIS method was used to reveal the differences of evaluation of these two types of banks. As a result of the analysis, the differences between these banks were presented in detail.
