Abstract

Ceramics, a product of history and culture, people who have been working for centuries. It has had an important place in the dialogue. Studies and innovations on the ceramic area of Turkish communities have made a significant contribution to the history of ceramic art. In the Ottoman period, the tiles produced were of great interest, spreading a wide geographical area, especially with Europe's ambassadors. These tiles are completed in Europe between works inspiring designers and artists. This study was conducted to examine the effect of Iznik ceramics on other cultures; The ceramics produced for the Iznik ceramics of Theodore Deck from the first studio ceramic artists in France who have an important place in Europe were examined and interpreted. In the studied works, it is not observed that the artist interprets many works with different colors together with samples which are produced individually from Iznik ceramics, and that some works are influenced by baroque and rococo periods. The artist has made researches on art works born in particular and made a publication on which researches and experiments have been carried out. Especially among the works of the artist, ceramics produced by the influence of Iznik tiles have been examined.
