While fundamental changes occurring have changed education, socio-cultural structure, ideology and political orientations in different ways, they have affected other countries as well. Youth events experienced have led to the rediscussion of concepts such as democracy, freedom, equality and justice gaining social dimension each time, and have enabled the reidentification of them. 68 youth movements taking place in Turkey emerged in that day's cultural, social, economic and political conditions and as a result of them. Youth events in Turkey, as in other countries, have emerged at universities. the problems of the university youth are basically determined and shaped by the circumstances of social groups they belong to.
