Yavuz Turgul and his endeavour to be persistent while producing popular cinema, might be such an example in Turkish cinema. Turgul is aiming to be persistent with his indispensable change theme while he keeps consistent with commercial dynamics of film industry. In a World where everything is changing constantly and fast, Turgul’s films describe the attitude of people against such change. This study is aiming to analyse Yavuz Turgul’s last movie Yol Ayrımı (2017) in scope of this change theme. The study begins with a brief analyse of Yavuz Turgul’s scenarios during Arzu Film era, considering these scenarios are the first steps of his observant style on change theme. Then common theme of his movies is examined in the light of auteur theory.
