Abstract

The phenomenon of globalization, which has different dimensions from economical, social, political and cultural aspects, has become a concept that has come to the forefront especially since the 1980s. In a general sense, globalization can be expressed as an integration process in which the borders between countries are left in terms of their respective dimensions. This process has also affected the legal systems of the countries and has been a reflection of the scope, purpose and contents of national legal regulations. In this study, the relation between the form of globalization and the reflection of the Labor Law No. 4857 in the context of labor legislation in our country and the types of contracts envisaged under this Law has been examined. In the study, the effect of globalization in general on the Law No. 4857, specifically on the types of employment contracts, was emphasized afterwards.
