@article{2018,title={WOMEN’S PROBLEMS IN LONG-DISTANCE MARRIAGES},abstractNode={Long distance marriage is defined as a form of marriage in which both options voluntarily continue as a result of the inability of family members to leave their profession or marriage. In our study, the problems experienced by women living in the Çankırı province, without their spouses because of their professions for at least 8 months have been put forward. In this study using qualitative research method, interviews were conducted with 17 participants. The obtained data were analyzed with the qualitative data analysis program NVivo 12. As a result of the findings, the problems of women are explained under the titles of physical distance, time of separation, meaning of physical absence of partner, social problems, parenting problems, housework and economic problems and the most difficult side of long distance marriage. Problems that women experience are gathered under the theme of social and parenting problems.},author={Elif ERDEM-- Mehmet Çağatay ÖZDEMİR},year={2018},journal={The Journal of Social Sciences}}
