Abstract

Muminun sura is the summary of the properties of the muslim stated in the Quran. Sura sheds light on the conditions of believers both its content and as of its period of coming down. It is possible to examine the content of the Mü'minûn sura in three chapters with an introduction. In the first verses of Sura, the qualities of the people going into the heaaven are cited as: to perform prayer and zakat worship, to obey the consignation, to avoid useless words and behaviors and to protect their chastity. In the first chapter, to begin with Nûh, the struggle for right and vanity which is continuing throughout the history of the prophets is explained. In the second chapter of Sûra, the present disbelievers in the period of Prophet were mentioned. The third chapter is devoted to the life of the Hereafter, in which the punishments that the disbelievers will face in the Hereafter are described. In this article, it is aimed to to deal with the facts that an ideal believer should possess in his belief that there are many narrations about virtues, to associate such facts with other verses of the Qur'an in the framework of the "relationship with Qur'ân", to present cross-sections about the characteristics of the Prophet's life, to compare the features studied with those of today's believer and to examine of the style the Qur'an followed while putting forward the ideal believer conception.
