Abstract

In this project, musical producers who lived in İzmir during the 19th and 20th centuries were searched. During the last quarter of the 1800's, some producers and music shops were encountered. All of these producers were seen to be composed of Armenian and Greek Cypriot Ottoman citizens. Some producers who have produced at the level of exports in the name of our country in 1900 and 1960, mainly mandolin, ud, kemençe and lavata production, then serial binding production and 1980 ud production were discussed. The information gathered in the chronology of the last documentary, book internet and newspaper and magazine scrolls that we made in the late 19th century to the late 20th century, and interviews and interviews with some producers who lived in the last century and took over the musical tradition from previous generations are collected. Zeynel Abidin Cümbüş, the creator of our country's musical brand, which is the origin of the musical history of our country, Stataphulos, who created the famous guitar brand "Epiphone" in America, and Ejder Güleç, who introduced our country to the whole world about law making, have been identified as producers in and around İzmir. Other than these producers, who are still small and still producing are determined. In the scope of the study, it was tried to be given masters who are thought to have created artistic and historical importance.
