In this study, it is aimed to reveal the perspective, awareness and satisfaction levels of the people of Bilecik city regarding the ecological benefits of urban green areas. For this purpose, a survey on the use of open-green areas and the ecological benefits of open-green areas in Bilecik city was conducted. The sample size was found to be 269 people living in Bilecik city center with a margin of error of 10% at 90% confidence limits. Survey results were analyzed in the SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) program and ıt was interpreted converted to graphics. In the analysis of the data collected, IBM SPSS Statistics 21 statistical analysis program was used. Frequency, percentage distributions, mean and standard deviation values were used to analyze the data. As a result, a survey conducted in the city center of Bilecik showed that urban people have a good level of perception and ecological awareness of open-green areas. However, it was determined that the level of satisfaction from the existing green areas was low.},author={Serpil MENTESE},year={2018},journal={The Journal of Social Sciences}}
