An important feature of this growth is its continuity. Many factors have been influential in the growth of the retail sector. The aim of this study is to determine the similarities and differences among companies by making decision matrices from the results obtained by using financial ratios in the evaluation of the financial performances of the food retailing companies in BIST. The financial performances of the food companies whose shares are traded in the retail food index of Borsa İstanbul are evaluated by TOPSIS Method. Borsa İstanbul’da perakende gıda endeksinde 5 şirket bulunmaktadır. Bu 5 şirkete ek olarak KIPA A.Ş’de araştırmaya dâhil edilmiştir.
