Abstract

This research; The aim of this course is to examine all aspects of kemane education in institutions providing music education at undergraduate level. For the research, resources related to the subject have been reached and previously published and unpublished books, articles, papers, bachelor's degree, master's, doctoral and proficiency in art studies have been reviewed and similar studies have been reviewed. In addition, semi-structured interview form consisting of 14 questions was applied to the instructors of kemane in the institutions providing music education at undergraduate level in Turkey. In the light of the data obtained; a minimum of 4 hours per week for a student of kemane lesson, teaching different music genres to students, use of terminology such as nuance, articulation and finger numbers used in violin education in kemane education, lack of written resources and methods in the field, the subjects such as making the kemane lesson in accordance with a specific curriculum are discussed and interpreted.
