During this qualitative research, document analysis was used as data collection method and the database of the Thesis Center of the Council of Higher Education of Turkey was used as a tool for data collection. The data gained was analyzed with Dey’s stages for qualitative analysis (1993) and the research was designed with content analysis. The research was carried out with two steps. Within the first step, the term that was searched within the titles of the dissertations was “gender”. 424 records were found and these findings were installed to SPSS 1.7 to make statistical calculations. As for the second step of the study, the keywords of these dissertations (the keywords of 407 dissertations could be gained) were analyzed with content analysis method.},author={Senem GÜRKAN},year={2018},journal={The Journal of Social Sciences}}
