Abstract

Changes in climate compose one of the biggest problems and difficulties of twenty first century. Because of climate change is seen as a problem which can endanger very serious socio-economic results, it has begun to take place at the top of international agenda. Reducing carbondioxide level in atmosphere forms one of the most important studies to struggle with global climate change. Forest functions as a very important carbon storing function because they hold %78 of organic carbon in ecosystem. Carbon strolling which appeared with Kyoto Protocol has laid groundwork for the development of carbon finance because it caused restrictions in industry sector. Although climate change policy in Turkey has not been informed in struggling with climate change policy yet, development of carbon policy and its effects to forestry will be noticed.
