In time, serial reproduction techniques were developed and became diverse. One of these techniques is lithography. After it was discovered by Senefelder in 1789, lithography technique has been applied without many changes until our present time. New ideas and materials that have emerged with the developing technology have also affected lithography techniques and methods. Due to the difficulties in the application of the traditional lithography technique, the toxic effects of the materials used, the cost and the difficulties in supplying the required materials, and the requirement for a lithography workshop with full equipment, lithography artists have moved to alternative methods and materials. One of these alternative techniques is the “Waterless Lithography”. There are some differences between traditional lithography and waterless lithography. In the present study, these differences were determined by applying the techniques, and the characteristics of the technique were determined. It was concluded in the present study that Traditional Lithography Technique has some drawbacks like the difficulties in application, cost, time and health; and for this reason, Waterless Lithography will eliminate these negations, and may be used commonly.},author={Tezcan BAHAR},year={2019},journal={The Journal of Social Sciences}}
