Abstract

The aim of the study is to evaluate the effects of Turkish education based on the achievements and critical thinking levels of normal and gifted students. The study sample consisted of 5th grade students who were grouped as experimental and control groups. There were 24 students in each group. According to the study findings, the program specially designed for gifted and talented students was observed to increase the participant gifted students’ scores in achievement tests and critical thinking skills. In this sense, how the critical thinking abilities of students from various intellectual levels can be improved with different programs can be examined in the future.
