Abstract

Food dyes, natural or artificially produced, the process and to restore the natural color disappears during storage, to strengthen weak inherent color, impart color to the food which is colorless, food additives, substances added to food to obtain attractive and acceptable products provided that hide lower quality. Food dyes, food constitute an important group of additives and is effective in increasing food lure. Sweets, soft drinks, cakes, gelatin desserts, ice cream and even more dyes are used in small amounts in many foods and more resistant against technological process is preferred by manufacturers because they provide good color. Color is one of the most important elements of appearance. Because when the color is used correctly, it increases or decreases the appetite of people. Corrects people's mood. It even affects people's taste in food. For this reason, food dyes have become indispensable additives in the modern food industry. The aim of this study is to determine the effect of food dyes in food industry and pastry industry and colors on consumer preferences.
