Abstract

In this research, the effects of blended learning environments on students' environmental literacy level were investigated. The Human and Environmental Relations unit was processed with blended applications for 4 weeks in 74 secondary school students in the 2017-2018 academic year. Mixed research model was used. Semi-experimental and case study design was used. Data were collected through an environmental literacy questionnaire and students' drawings about environment. Blog pages were prepared for the student groups to be used during and after the lesson. Through blog pages, the students shared their ideas, revised the subjects they did not understand. According to the results from the study; it has been seen that these studies increase the level of environmental literacy in students. In addition, it was observed that students' perceptions on environmental elements changed positively. Thus it is thought that it will contribute to overcome learning difficulties related to environmental education.
