Abstract

The main purpose of the study is to determine the perceptions of bank employees towards communiation within the scope of teleworking during the pandemic process. In this context, the questionnaire form prepared for the research was applied to 147 individuals (77 managers and 70 other personel) working within the framework of Izmir branches of a very large-scale bank in Izmir between March 2020 – June 2020. The vast majority of participants perceive communication as very high and highly important when working remotely during the pandemic process, both institutionally and individually. Factors affecting communication and ensuring effective communication are highly regarded. There is no different perception regarding the factors affecting communication and providing effective communication in terms of gender, education level, experience period and position. There are high and moderate positive correlations between the factors affecting communication and ensuring effective communication. The effect of affecting communication on effective communication is perceived to be significant.
