Abstract
17 aralık 2010'da Tunus'ta başlayan ve kısa sürede bütün Arap coğrafyasına yayılma istidadı gösteren devrimler önceden öngörülemediği için başlangıçta lokal bir hareket olarak algılandı. Fakat Mısır, Libya,Suriye, Yemen ve Bahreyn'de milyonlarca insan sokağa çıkıp yürümeye başlayınca herkes olup biten hadisleri anlamaya, isyanların nedenlerini, kimin yaptığını, geleceğini, sonuçlarını, başarılı olup olamayacağını tartışmaya başladı. Doğal olarak bu tartışmalarda herkesi tatmin eden bir sonuca varılması mümkün değildir. Çünkü herkes Arap dünyasında meydana gelen devrimlere farklı pencereden bakmaktadır. Halk bu devrimlerle son bir yüzyılda kaybettiği, insan onuruna yakışır bir yaşamı elde etmeye çalışırken devrim karşıtları bu coğrafyada sömürü üzerine kurulu yapının devamı için her türlü yola başvurmaktadırlar. Fakat bu yapının sonsuza değin devam etmesi eşyanın tabiatına aykırıdır. Zira Arap devrimleri sadece sosyal bir mesele değildir. Bu hareketler gelecekte daha uzun süreli hareketleri ortaya çıkaracaktır ve gelecekte merkezinde şiddet, baskı bulunan tüm diktatöryal yönetimlerin yıkılmasına sebebiyet veren bir rol oynayacaktır.

Abstract
As the revolutions which started on 17 December 2010 in Tunisia and tended to spread rapidly all over the Arab regions were not foreseen, they were perceived as local events. Nevertheless, when millions were mobilized on the streets of Egypt, Libya, Syria, Yemen and Bahrain, the discussions appeared to understand what was happening, what the real reasons were, who were behind the curtain, what would happen in the future if these revolt would be successful eventually. Basically, it is not possible to find out a comprehensive answer to all these questions that can satisfy all as each has a different approach to the issue. Although Arabs try to regain a respected life that they lost a century ago, anti-revolutionaries try everything to preserve colonial order in the region. Nonetheless, such an order cannot survive there. Arab revolutions are not only a social issue. These events will cause the other long-term-movements in the future and will play a significant role in the collapse of the dictatorial regimes which based themselves on violence and suppression.
