Abstract
Gelişen yeni tekniklerle beraber heykelin malzemesi ve boyutu değiştiğinde, biçimi de çok anlamda farklılık göstermiştir. Günümüzde heykeltıraşlar amaçları doğrultusunda her türlü malzeme ve tekniği sanatlarına katmayı başarmışlardır. Pek çok sanatçı çalışmalarında farklı teknik, biçim ve renk kullanmayı denemiştir. Bazen sanatçılar özellikle dış mekân heykellerinde, çevre verilerinden hareketle yapıtlarını boyama yoluna gittikleri gibi, bazı sanatçıların da kendi tarzı olarak rengi heykellerinde kullandıkları görülmüştür. Farklı bakış açıları ve amaçlarla heykele giren renk, izleyicisine farklı duygular yaşatabilmiştir. Her türlü gelişmelerden fazlasıyla yararlanan sanatçılar; biçimler, renkler, konular, boyutlarla doğaya, şehirlere neşeli yorumlar katmışlardır. Bazen sanatçılar, büyük boyutlar tercih ederek hem resim, hem heykel, hem mimari özellikleri eserlerinde başarıyla kullanmışlar, heykelin sınırları dışına çıkmışlardır. Farklı anlatım araçlarıyla birbirlerinin alanlarını kullanan resim ve heykel, özellikle dış mekânda neşeli görünümleriyle şehirlere ve orada yaşayanların hayatlarına katkıları kaçınılmaz olmuştur.

Abstract
Changes occurring in materials and sizes of sculptures in parallel with new developing techniques have brought out also significant changes in terms of their forms. In our day, the sculptors have managed to include all kinds of materials and techniques to their artistic performances in line with their targets. A great deal of artists has sought to employ various techniques forms and colors in their art works. Sometimes the artists are intended to paint their especially outdoor sculptures in harmony with the environment and sometimes they prefer uniqueness in their works with colors reflecting their styles. Colors employed in sculptures with different viewpoints and purposes create different feelings on the perceivers thereof. Artist who enjoy all kinds of developments abundantly have achieved cheerful contributions to nature and city life thanks to different forms, colors, themes and dimensions. The artists prefer big sizes from time to time and employ painting, sculpture and architectural features concurrently in their works successfully and they pass beyond the boundaries of conventional understanding of sculpture. Painting art and sculpture which employ each other’s field through different expression means have become an inevitable part to the contribution of the inhabits of cities thanks to the cheerful perceptions thereof.
