İBNU’L-CEVZÎ EBÛ’L-FEREC’İN EL-MUNTAZAM ADLI ESERİ ÇERÇEVESİNDE BAĞDAT VE CİVARINDA MEYDANA GELEN DOĞAL FELAKETLER (1052-1179)

Abstract
Bağdât tarih boyunca birçok medeniyete ve kültüre hizmet eden önemli bir merkezi olmuştur. Abbâsîler döneminde sunnî halîfelerin ve İslâm dünyasının başkenti olan şehir, birçok doğal felaketlerle karşı karşıya kalmıştır. Bu tür olayların aktarılması sırasında olayları bizzat yaşayan kişilerin ifadeleri önemlidir. Bu bağlamda Ebu’l-Ferec İbnu’l-Cevzî, el-Muntazam adlı eserinde anlatmış olduğu olayların birçoğuna bizzat şâhit olmuştur. Birinci elden elde edilen bu bilgiler çağdaşı tarihçiler tarafından da doğrulanmıştır. Bu çalışmada 1052-1179 yılları arasında Bağdât’ta meydana gelen doğal felaketler Ebu’l-Ferec İbnu’l-Cevzî’nin el-Muntazam adlı eseri çerçevesinde ele alınmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda araştırmaya konu olan dönemde Bağdât’ta yangın, taşkın, sel, yağmur, deprem, kuraklık, veba gibi birçok hastalık ortaya çıktığı tespit edilmiştir. Tespit edilen doğal felaketler çalışmanın sonunda ayrıca tablo hâlinde sunulmuştur.

Abstract
Baghdat has been an important center throughout history that served to many civilizations and cultures. The city that has been the capital of the Sunnit caliphats ant whole Islamic world it has faced many natural disasters. During the transfer of such events, İt is important for the expression of people are living these events. In this regard Ebu’l-Ferec İbnu’l-Cevzî has witnessed many of the events that told in his book el-Muntazam. These informations that have obtained his firsthand were confirmed by contemporary historians. In this study the natural disasters were occurred in Baghdat during 1052-1179 have discussed in the framework of his work named el-Muntazam. In conclusion it was determined that many diseases like fire, flood, flood, storm, earthquake, drought, plague have occurred in Baghdat. At the end of study it has also been presented tabulated the natural disasters that have detected during this study.
