Abstract
Kadın, çağdaş Arap romanının en önemli temel taşıdır. Kadın imgesi, yazarların üzerinde önemle durduğu bir konudur. Kadının toplum içinde yerini alması, aydın olmak için verdiği mücadele, kadın-erkek ilişkileri, kadın üzerindeki cinsel baskılar, Arap romancılığının dönem eserlerinde işlenmiştir. Bu çalışmada Arap romanında gelişen ve değişen kadın imgesi ele alınmaktadır.

Abstract
The woman is the most important cornerstone of contemporary Arabic novel. The woman image is an issue overemphasis of authors. Take the place of woman in society, struggle to be intellectual, male-female relationships and the pressures on woman from sexually it was processed in the period works of Arab novel. In this study is discussed developing and changing woman image in Arabic novel.
