Abstract
Soğuk Savaş sonrası dönemde Türk Deniz Kuvvetleri’nin açık denizlere odaklanan stratejisi çerçevesinde kuvvet yapısını önemli ölçüde geliştirdiği görülmektedir. Türk Deniz Kuvvetleri Stratejisi’ndeki dönüşümün somut göstergelerinden biri Türk Deniz Görev Grubu’dur. Kuvvet tarihinde bir ilk olma özelliği taşıyan girişim, ana vatandan uzak coğrafyalarda faaliyet göstermek üzere oluşturulmuş bir açık deniz görev grubudur. Bu çalışmada, Türk Deniz Görev Grubu örneği üzerinden Türk Deniz Kuvvetleri Stratejisi’ndeki dönüşümün incelenmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Çalışmada, Soğuk Savaş’tan günümüze Türk Deniz Kuvvetleri Stratejisi’nin dönüşümü, Türk Deniz Kuvvetleri’nin kuvvet yapısı ve faaliyetleri ve Türk Deniz Görev Grubu’nun aktivasyonları ele alınmaktadır. Ayrıca Türk Deniz Kuvvetleri’nin yeteneklerinin geliştirilmesine yönelik öneriler de sunulmaktadır.

Abstract
The Turkish Naval Forces has been significantly developed force structure within the context of strategy focusing on high seas in the post Cold War period. The Turkish Maritime Task Group is one of the concrete indicators of transformation in the Turkish Naval Forces Strategy. Turkish Maritime Task Group which comes into view as a first initiative in history of force has been established as a high seas task group for overseas actions. In this study, it is aimed to examine transformation in the Turkish Naval Forces Strategy through example of the Turkish Maritime Task Group. Transformation of the Turkish Naval Forces Strategy from Cold War to nowadays, force structure and activities of the Turkish Naval Forces and actions of the Turkish Maritime Task Group have analyzed in the study. Furthermore, suggestions have offered for the Turkish Naval Forces to develop capabilities.
