ÖZEL GEREKSİNİMLİ ÇOCUKLARIN AİLELERİ ÜZERİNDEKİ ETKİ DÜZEYİ VE BAŞA ÇIKMA STRATEJİLERİNİN İNCELENMESİ

Abstract
Bu araştırmanın amacı, özel gereksinimli çocukların aileleri üzerindeki etki düzeyi ve ailelerin kullandığı başa çıkma stratejilerinin incelenmesidir. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak, Demografik Bilgi Formu, Başa Çıkma Stratejileri Ölçeği, Aile etki ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemi, 155 baba, 424 anneden oluşmaktadır. Verilerin analizinden elde edilen bulgulara göre; başa çıkma stratejisi alt boyutu olan problem çözme ile aile etki ölçeğinin alt boyutlarını incelediğimizde problem çözme ile maddi yük arasında anlamlı bir ilişki bulunduğu; problem çözme becerisi arttıkça maddi yük olma boyutu azaldığı görülmüştür. Problem çözme stratejisi ile ailesel ve toplumsal etki arasında anlamlı bir ilişki bulunduğu; problem çözme becerisi arttıkça ailesel ve toplumsal etki azaldığı görülmüştür. Problem çözme stratejisi ile kişisel zorlanma boyutu arasında anlamlı bir ilişki bulunduğu; problem çözme becerisi arttıkça kişisel zorlanma boyutu azaldığı görülmüştür.

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine level of impact of children with special needs on families, coping strategies used by families. “Demographic Information Form”, “Coping with Stress Scale”, “Family Effect Scale” were used to collect data. The sample consists of 155 father, 424 mother. According to findings; when we consider problem solving which is sub-dimension of coping strategies and sub-dimensions of family effect scale, a significiant correlation was found between problem solving and financial burden; it was seen that as problem solving skills increases size of being a financial burden decreases. There was a significiant correlation between problem solving strategy and familial and social effect; as problem solving skills increased familial and social impact decreased. It has been found that there was a significiant reletionship between problem solving strategy and personal strain; the greater problem solving skills the smaller the dimension of personan strain.
