YABANCI MEDYADA ÇIKAN TÜRKİYE KONULU HABERLERE İLİŞKİN YABANCI OKUYUCU ALGISININ İNCELENMESİ (İNGİLİZ HABER SİTESİ INDEPENDET ÖRNEĞİ)

Abstract
Araştırmanın amacı yabacı medyada Türkiye temalı haberlerin ve haber altına yapılan okuyucu yorumlarının analizi yapılarak onların Türkiye’ye ilişkin algılarının tespitine yöneliktir. Uluslararası yabancı basında ki Türkiye konulu haberlere ilişkin okuyucular araştırma evrenine alınmış olup; ‘The Independent’ haber sitelerinde yer alan Türkiye temalı haberlerdeki okuyucu yorumları ise örneklem birimini oluşturmuştur. Araştırmada içerik analizi yöntemini kullanarak, Independet İnternet gazetesinin internet sitelerinde yer alan Türkiye konulu haberler ilişkin yabancı okuyucu algısı nitel veriler toplanarak incelenmiştir. Araştırma amaçları doğrultusunda, 01 Eylül 2016 ile 01 Temmuz 2017 tarihleri arasında örneklem birimini oluşturan haber sitesinde ki Türkiye temalı haberlere ilişkin okuyucu yorumlarına internet ortamı üzerinden erişilmiş ve onların yapmış oldukları yorumlar ‘Türkiye Karşıtı Haber Yorumları’, ‘İslam Karşıtı Haber Yorumları’ ve ‘Düşüncesini İfade Eden Haber Yorumları’ olarak kategorize edilmiştir. Araştırma kapsamın 10 farklı habere okuyucuların yapmış olduğu toplam 1165 yorum içerik analizi yöntemiyle incelenmiştir. Bunlardan 526 tanesinin Türkiye karşıtı söylemler içerdiği, 259’unun İslam karşıtı haber yorumu olduğu sonucu tespit edilmiştir.

Abstract
The aim of the research is to determine the perceptions of Turkey by analyzing the news stories based on Turkey and the reader comments made under the news. The readers of international foreign press reports on Turkey were taken to the research universe; Readers' comments on the news stories based on Turkey in the "The Independent" news sites constituted the sampling unit. By using the content analysis method in the research, the foreign reader perception qualitative data related to the news about Turkey in the internet sites of Independet Internet newspaper were collected and examined. In the direction of research purposes , the reader's comments on the Turkey-based news on the news site that constituted the sampling unit between 01 September 2016 and 01 July 2017 were accessed via the internet and their comments were categorized as the 'Anti-Turkey News Reviews', 'Anti-Islamic News Reviews' and ‘ Expressed News Comments'. A total of 1165 interviews, which were conducted by 10 different journal readers, were examined by means of content analysis. Of these, 526 were anti-Turkish discourses, and 259 were anti-Islamic news commentaries have been determined.
