Abstract
İş güvenliği kavramı, iş kazalarının yaşanması sonrasında ortaya çıkmış bir ifadedir. İş kazalarının engellenmesi veya azaltılması için yapılan çalışmalar iş güvenliği önlemlerini oluşturmaktadır. Türkiye’deki mevzuat gereğince iş güvenliği önlemlerinin başında riski ortadan kaldırmak ve riskle kaynağında mücadele etmek gelmektedir. Bunun devamında işyerine ait toplu koruma önlemleri ile çalışanlara ait kişisel koruyucu önlemler alınmalıdır. Tüm bu önlemlerin alınmasına rağmen iş kazalarının yaşanması olasıdır. Çünkü bazı iş kazalarının sebebi insandan kaynaklanır. Bu yüzden iş kazalarının yaşanmasını önlemek ve güvenli bir çalışma ortamının devamını sağlamak için çalışanlarda iş güvenliği kültürü algısı oluşturmak, işletmenin birincil amaçlarından olmalıdır. Bu çalışma, hastane laboratuvar çalışanlarının iş güvenliğine bakış açısı, iş güvenliği hakkındaki tutum ve davranışlarını yorumlamak amacıyla yapılmıştır. Çalışmanın ilk bölümüne iş kazaları ve iş güvenliği algısıyla ilgili giriş yapılmıştır. İkinci bölümde çalışmanın amacı, konusu, yöntemi ve çalışma sırasında yaşanan zorluklardan bahsedilmiştir. Üçüncü bölüm iş güvenliğinin dünyada ve Türkiye’deki tarihi hakkında bilgi vermek amacıyla hazırlanmıştır. Çalışmanın dördüncü bölümü iş güvenliği ile alakalı kavramları incelemekle birlikte, iş güvenliği kültürü hakkında bilgi vermekte, iş güvenliği kültürünün özellikleri ve etkilerinden bahsetmektedir. Beşinci bölümde, hastane laboratuvarları ve çalışmaları hakkında kısaca bilgi verildikten sonra, çalışmanın altıncı bölümünde yapılan anket çalışması sonuçları tabloya aktarılıp yorumlanmıştır. Ayrıca çalışmanın amacına uygun olarak, çalışma hakkındaki bulgular açıklanmış, çıkan sonuçlar değerlendirilmiştir.

Abstract
The concept of work safety is a phenomenon that has emerged after the occurrence of work accidents. The work carried out to prevent or reduce occupational accidents constitutes work safety measures. According to the legislation in force in Turkey, at the beginning of work safety measures, it is necessary to remove the risk and combat the risk at its source. Furthermore, all the workplace protective measures and personal protective measures should be taken. Despite the fact that all these precautions are taken, it is fairly possible to experience work accidents. Because, the cause of some occupational accidents results from the human factor himself. It is therefore the primary goal of any business to ensure a perception of occupational health and safety culture so as to prevent occupational accidents for the employees to ensure a safe working environment. This study was conducted to interpret about the view of work safety and attitudes and behaviours of the employees of hospital laboratories. In the first part of the work, the introduction was made by commenting on the perception of work safety and the occupational accident. In the second part, the purpose, the method, and the difficulties that are experienced during the study are mentioned. The third chapter is allocated to provide information about the history of work safety in the world and in Turkey. The fourth part of the study examines the concepts in relation to the work safety, provides information on the culture of work safety and discusses the characteristics and influences of work safety culture. In the fifth chapter, we have briefly provided information about hospital laboratories and studies. In the sixth part of the study, the results of the questionnaire survey conducted were transferred to the related table and interpreted. In addition, in line with the purpose of the study, the findings about the study are explained and the results are evaluated
