Abstract
Kötülük, düşünce tarihinde en çok tartışılan görüşlerden biri olmuştur. Bu makalenin amacını da Rousseau’nun kötülük üzerine düşüncesi oluşturur. Düşünür, var olan kötülüğü insanın eylemlerine yükleyen ilk kişi olması açısından önemlidir. Rousseau’nun kötülük fikrine bakıldığında ise doğal durum ve toplum etrafında şekillendiği görülür. Bu yönde yapılacak ilk şey, insanların sosyalleşmeden önce özgürlük ve eşitlik içinde yaşadıkları doğal durum hakkında bilgi vermektir. Daha sonra kötülüğün kaynağı olarak gördüğü toplum ve ona doğru gerçekleşen geçiş, evreler halince sunulur. Evrelerin içeriği, ihtiyaçlar, özsevgi-merhamet-özsaygı, dil, eşitsizlikler, mülkiyet, büyük devrimler ve bilim-edebiyat-sanatın etkilerinden meydana gelir.

Abstract
Evil is one of the most debated views in the history of thought. The purpose of this article is Rousseau's thought on evil. The Thinker is important in terms of being the first person to install evil into humans actions. Looking at Rousseau's idea of evil, it is seen that it is shaped around the natural state and society. The first thing to do in this direction is to give information about the natural situation in which people live in freedom and equality before they become socialized. Later, the society he sees as the source of evil, and the transition to it, is presented in phases. The content of the stages, consists of need, self-love - compassion- respect, language, inequalities, property, great revolutions and the effects of science-literature-art.
