Bu Makalede, Seçim ve Demokrasi ilişkileri incelenecektir. Demokrasi seçim süreçlerinin soncu mudur yoksa seçim demokrasiye sebep olur. Seçim süreçleri otoriter rejimlere meşruluğu onaylamak için bir araç mıdır? Dört bölümde detaylı bir şekilde seçim ve demokrasi ilişkileri incelenecektir. Birinci bölümde, demokratik seçim süreçleri nasıl özellikler taşımalıdırlar? İkinci bölümde, seçim olmadan demokrasi mümkün müdür tartışılacaktır. Üçüncü ve dördüncü bölümde, bir hükûmetin meşru olması için hangi özelliklere sahip olmalı?

Abstract
In this essay the relationship between democracy and election is studied. Is democracy product of electoral process or electoral process can affect democratic procedures? Can election transform to a tool in the hands of authoritarian governments in order to be proof of legatimacy? In four different sections the relationship between Democracy and Election is discussed in more details. In the first section, What forms and chrectristics of democratic elections should have in order to be considered as democratic? In second section, Whether democracies without elections are possible?, In the third and fourth sections, prerequistes of legitimacy is discussed.
