ÖĞRETMEN ADAYLARININ MESLEĞE YÖNELİK TUTUMLARININ İNCELENMESİ (BARTIN ÜNİVERSİTESİ EĞİTİM FAKÜLTESİ ÖRNEĞİ)

Abstract
Araştırmanın amacı öğretmen adaylarının öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik tutumlarının incelenmesidir. Araştırma 2015-2016 akademik yılında Bartın Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesinde Sınıf Eğitimi, Sosyal Bilgiler Eğitimi ve Matematik Eğitimi anabilim dallarının 4. sınıfında öğrenim gören 86 öğretmen adayı üzerinde yapılmıştır. Araştırma tarama modelindedir. Verilerin toplanmasında 34 maddeden oluşan 5’li likert tipi ölçme aracı kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin analizinde istatistiksel işlemlerden frekans, yüzde, bağımsız gruplar t-testi ve tek yönlü varyans analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda öğretmen adaylarının mesleğe yönelik tutumları ile cinsiyet değişkeni arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık olmadığı görülmüştür. Ayrıca öğretmen adaylarının öğrenim gördükleri anabilim dalları ile mesleğe ilişkin tutumları arasında anlamlı bir farklılık olmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Öğretmen adaylarının mesleğe ilişkin tutumlarına yönelik aldıkları, genel tutum puanının tutum seçeneklerinden “katılıyorum” seçeneğinde yer aldığı saptanmıştır. Bartın Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi öğretmen adaylarının mesleğe yönelik olumlu tutuma sahip oldukları belirlenmiştir.

Abstract
Aim of the study was to analyze the prospective teachers’ attitudes towards teaching profession. The study was carried out with 86 prospective teachers studying as 4th graders at the departments of primary school teaching, social sciences teaching and mathematics teaching at Bartın University in 2015-2016 academic year. The research was in a survey model. A 5-point Likert scale with 34 items was conducted for data collection. For data analysis, frequency, percentage, independent samples t-test and one-way ANOVA were employed. It was found as a result of the study that there was no statistically significant difference between the prospective teachers’ attitudes towards the profession and their genders. Additionally, no statistically significant difference was observed between the departments that the prospective teachers studied at and their attitudes towards the profession. The overall attitude score of the prospective teachers was at the option of “I agree”. Therefore, it was concluded that the prospective teachers studying at Bartın University had positive attitudes towards teaching profession.
