Abstract
Öfke diğer duygular gibi son derece doğaldır, evrensel ve sağlıklı olarak ifade edildiğinde yapıcı ve kişiler arası iletişimi düzeltici olabilen bir duygudur. Ancak öfke kontrol edilemeyen ve yıkıcı bir biçimde davranışlara yansıdığı takdirde saldırgan ve tahrip edici tepkilere dönüşme potansiyeline sahiptir. Her meslek mensubunda olduğu gibi iş temposunun çok yoğun olduğu muhasebe meslek mensupları da zaman zaman öfkeyle karşı karşıya kalmaktadır. Bu çalışma muhasebe meslek mensuplarının öfke düzeylerini belirlemek ve çeşitli demografik verilerle öfke düzeyi arasındaki ilişkiyi test etmek üzere yapılmıştır. Elde edilen verilere göre muhasebe meslek mensuplarında öfkeye neden olan sebeplerden biri başkalarının hataları yüzünden yaptıkları işin aksamasıdır. Ayrıca kadın meslek mensuplarının erkek meslek mensuplarına göre öfke düzeyleri daha yüksektir.

Abstract
Anger is so natural just like other emotions; it is universal and is an emotion which may be constructive and corrective for the interpersonal communication when expressed in a healthy way. However, if anger reflects in behaviors in an uncontrolled and destructive way; it has the potential of changing into offensive and subversive reactions. As it is the case for all members of professions; members of the accounting profession which have a very busy pace face with anger sometimes. This study has been carried out in order to determine the levels of anger of the members of accounting profession and to test the relationship between several demographical data and the level of anger. According to the data obtained; one of the reasons that cause anger in the members of accounting profession is that their works are disrupted because of the mistakes made by others. In addition, anger levels of the female professionals are higher than the male professionals.
