BARTIN İLİ GENELİNDE UYGULANMAKTA OLAN KİTAP OKUMA PROJESİNE YÖNELİK SINIF ÖĞRETMENLERİNİN GÖRÜŞLERİNİN DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ

Abstract
Araştırmanın amacı Bartın ili genelinde uygulanmakta olan kitap okuma projesine yönelik sınıf öğretmenlerinin görüşlerinin değerlendirilmesidir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Bartın il merkezindeki ilkokulda görev yapan 50 sınıf öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden betimsel model kullanılmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmacı tarafından 4 maddeden oluşan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu hazırlanmıştır. Yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formunun hazırlanmasında uzman görüşü alınmıştır. Veriler içerik analizi yöntemine göre değerlendirilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde, istatistiksel işlemlerden yüzde kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda; sınıf öğretmenlerinin %60’ının kitap okuma etkinliğinin ilk ders saatinde yapılmasını uygun bulmadığı, %86’sı kitap okuma etkinliği sonrası öğrencilerden okudukları sayfa sayısının alınmasını gerekli görmediği, %88’i kitap okuma etkinliğinin ders saati ile birleşmesi sonucunda ders süresinin 60 dakika olmasının dersin verimini olumsuz yönde etkilediğini düşündükleri tespit edilmiştir. Bunun yanında sınıf öğretmenlerinin %70’inin kitap okuma etkinliğinin öğrenciye okuma alışkanlığı kazandırdığını beyan ettikleri saptanmıştır.

Abstract
The aim of the research is to evaluate the opinions of the classroom teachers about the book reading project being implemented throughout Bartın province. The study group of the research consists of 50 classroom teachers working in primary school in Bartın city center. Descriptive model, one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the research. As the data collection tool, a semi-structured interview form consisting of 4 items was prepared by the researcher. Expert opinion was taken in the preparation of the semi-structured interview form. The data were evaluated according to the content analysis method. In the analysis of the data, percent of the statistical processes were used. As a result of the research; 60% of classroom teachers did not find it appropriate to hold the book reading activity in the first lesson time, 86% did not consider it necessary to take the number of pages they read from the students after the book reading activity, and 88% of the book reading activity combined with the lesson time was 60 minutes. It was determined that they thought it negatively affected the yield. In addition, it was found that 70% of the classroom teachers declared that the book reading activity gained the student the habit of reading.
