Abstract

Bu araştırma viyolonsel eğitiminde başlangıç seviyesinde uzman görüşlerince, melodik yapısı, ritmik yapısı, ve müzik yazısı ile çalınacak ilk tam sonat sayılan, Jean Baptiste Breval “Op.40 No.1 Do Majör Viyolonsel Sonatı”nın, “Rondo” bölümünün teknik özelliklerinin saptanması, ulaşılan bilgilerin yorumlanmasını amaçlamaktadır. Eserde bulunan teknik özellikler, analiz yöntemi aracılığıyla tespit edilmiş, literatür tarama ile elde edilen bilgiler ışığında yorumlanmıştır. İki bölümden oluşan eserin İkinci bölümü incelenmiş, teknik özellikleri; yay teknikleri (Sağ el), parmak teknikleri (sol el) olarak başlıklarıyla ele alınmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda, Jean Baptiste Breval “Op.40 No.1 Do Majör Viyolonsel Sonatı”nın, ilk bölümünde kullanılan yay tekniklerinin; Detaşe, Legato, Aksan, Bağlı Staccato, Spiccato, Portato, Üçlü Akor ve Dörtlü Akor, Parmak tekniklerinin ise; Dörtlü Akor, Trill, Apajyatür, Çarpma ve Konum kullanımı olduğu belirlenmiştir.

Abstract

Purpose of this study is to identify the technical features in the Rondo movement of Jean Baptiste Breval’s “Cello Sonata in C Major, Op.40 No.1”, and interpretation of the data obtained. According to experts; with its melodic and rhythmic structure, and musical writing, the sonata is regarded as the first full sonata to be played at the beginner level of cello education. Technical characteristics of the piece were identified through analysis method, and interpreted in the light of data obtained from literature review. Consisting of two movements, the first movement of the piece was analysed in terms of technical features, bowing techniques (Right hand), and finger techniques (left hand). The study concluded that the bowing techniques used in the first movement of Jean Baptiste Breval’s Cello Sonata in C Major, Op.40 No.1 are detache, legato, accent, tied staccato, spiccato, portato, four-note chords; while the finger techniques are listed as four-note chords, trill, appoggiatura, grace notes and positioning.
