Abstract
Lojistik sektörü, ülkelerin sürdürülebilir rekabet gücüne erişebilmeleri ve küresel ticaretten daha fazla pay alabilmeleri için, kalitesinin sürekli olarak arttırılmasını gerektiren kilit sektör halini almıştır. Lojistik ağ yapısını tamamlamış, lojistik kalitesini artırmış, liman kapasitesini iyileştirmiş ve başta havayolu, deniz yolu ve yurtiçinde özellikle demiryolu taşımacılık ağlarını geliştirmiş ülkeler, hem global ticaretten çok daha fazla pay almakta hem de ekonomik kalkınmayı gerçekleştiren ülkeler arasında yer almaktadır. Türkiye ise, üç tarafı denizle çevrili ve iki kıtayı birbirine bağlayan bir ülke olarak olağanüstü coğrafi konum avantajına rağmen, lojistik performans açısından istenen seviyeye henüz ulaşamamıştır. 2018 yılında yapılan son Lojistik Performans Endeks sıralamasında da, ülkemiz geçmiş yıllara göre düşük bir performans göstererek 47. sırada yer almıştır. Bu çalışmada; Türkiye’nin lojistik alanındaki mevcut durumu hakkında bilgi verilmiş; sektörün güçlü ve zayıf yönleri ile sektörü etkileyen fırsatlar ve tehditler SWOT Analizi ile değerlendirilmiştir.

Abstract
The logistics sector has become the key sector that requires continual improvement of its quality in order that countries can achieve sustainable competitiveness and gain greater share of global trade. The countries that have completed the logistics network structure, increased the logistics quality, improved the port capacity and developed the railway transportation networks especially in the airline, maritime and domestically, both take more bigger share from global commerce and they appear among the countries that realize economic development. Turkey, surrounded by the sea on three sides and two continents, has not yet reached the desired level in terms of logistics performance despite the advantage of an exceptional geographical position linking the country together. In the last Logistics Performance Index ranking made in 2018, our country appeared in the 47th row, showing a lower performance compared to previous years. In this study; it has been given information about the current situation in the logistics area of Turkey and the strengths and weaknesses of the sector and the opportunities and threats affecting the sector were evaluated with SWOT Analysis.
