Abstract
Bu araştırmada Türkiye’de 2013-2020 yılları arasında piyano alanında yazılmış lisansüstü tezlerin farklı kriterlere göre sınıflandırılarak incelenmesi ve piyano alanı ile ilgili çalışma yapmak isteyen araştırmacılara yardımcı olabilecek bir kaynak oluşturulması amaçlanmaktadır. Araştırma nitel araştırma yönteminin kullanıldığı betimsel bir araştırmadır. Araştırmanın evrenini Türkiye’de piyano ile ilgili yazılmış lisansüstü tezler oluşturmakta; örneklemini ise, 2013-2020 yılları arasında piyano ile ilgili yazılmış tezler oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada piyano ile ilgili yazılmış tezler; türlerine, yazıldıkları yıllara, bağlı olduğu üniversite, bağlı olduğu enstitü, tez konuları ve araştırma yöntemlerine göre sınıflandırılmıştır. Veri toplama yöntemi olarak doküman analizi tekniğinden faydalanılmıştır. Yükseköğretim Kurumu Tez Merkezi’nden “piyano” anahtar sözcüğü ile yapılan taramada, bazı tezlerin erişime kısıtlı olması bakımından 167 teze ulaşılmıştır. Toplanan veriler içerik analizi ile incelenen tezlere yönelik frekans (f) ve yüzde (%) hesaplaması yapılmış, ilgili veriler tablolar halinde gösterilmiş ve yorumlanmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular sonucunda; piyano alanı ile ilgili yapılmış lisansüstü tezlerinçoğunu yüksek lisans tezlerinin oluşturduğu; 2019 yılına ait tezlerin en fazla orana sahip olduğu; lisansüstü tezlerin en fazla eğitim bilimleri enstitüsünde ve Gazi Üniversitesinde yapıldığı;en çok “eser analizi” konusu üzerine çalışma yapıldığı; lisansüstü tezlerde en fazla betimsel (tarama) model kullanıldığı sonucuna varılmıştır.

Abstract
The present research aims to classify and review the graduate theses written in the field of piano in Turkey between 2013 and 2020 by various criteria and create a resource that may help researchers who want to study in the field of the piano. The study is a descriptive study using a qualitative research design. There search population consists of the graduate theses written on piano in Turkey, and the sample is the theses written on the piano between 2013 and 2020. The study classifies the thesis written on piano by the type, the year, the university and the institute written, and the thesis topics and research methods. Data was collected by the document analysis technique. A search performed on the Council for Higher EducationThesis Center with the keyword "piano” retrieved 167 theses as some of the theses have restricted access. For the collected data, frequency (f) and percentage (%) calculations were performed for the theses reviewed by content analysis, and the relevant data is presented and interpreted in tables. The findings show that most of the graduate theses on the piano are post graduate theses; that the majority there of is from 2019; that most of the graduate theses were prepared in the educational sciences institute and in Gazi University; that the subject studied the most is the “analysis of a work”; and that the graduate theses mostly used the descriptive (screening) method.
