Abstract
Araştırmanın amacı, ergenlik dönemindeki çocukların benlik saygısı düzeyleri ile anne-babalarının evlilik uyumları arasındaki ilişkiyi tespit etmektir. İlişkisel tarama modelindeki bu araştırmaya, 537 ergen ve onların anne-babaları dahil olmuştur. Araştırmanın verileri; ergenlere uygulanan “Kişisel Bilgi Formu” ve “Coopersmith Benlik Saygısı Ölçeği” ile toplanmıştır. Ayrıca ergenler aracılığıyla, kapalı zarf içinde, ebeveynlere ulaştırılmak üzere hazırlanan “Kişisel Bilgi Formu” ve “Evlilikte Uyum Ölçeği” ile veriler toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde non-parametrik teknikler kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın bulgularına göre; anne-babası okuryazar/ilkokul mezunu olan ergenlerin daha yüksek akademik benlik saygısı düzeyine sahip oldukları tespit edilmiştir. Anne-babaların evlilik uyumu ile ergenlerin genel, akademik ve ev-aileye ilişkin benlik saygısı düzeyleri arasında pozitif yönde anlamlı ilişki saptanmıştır. Annenin evlilik uyumu ile ergenin sosyal benlik saygısı düzeyi arasında anlamlı ilişki saptanmazken; babanın evlilik uyumu ile ergenin sosyal benlik saygısı arasında pozitif yönde anlamlı ilişki tespit edilmiştir.

Abstract
The aim of the study is to determine the relationship between the self-esteem levels of adolescents and their parents' marital adjustment. 537 adolescents and their parents were included in this study in the relational screening model. Research data; “Personal Information Form” and “Coopersmith Self-Esteem Inventory” applied to adolescents. In addition, data were collected using the "Personal Information Form" and the "Marriage Adjustment Scale" prepared to be delivered to parents in a sealed envelope through adolescents. Non-parametric techniques were used to analyze the data. According to the findings of the research; It has been determined that adolescents whose parents are literate / primary school graduates have higher academic self-esteem levels. A positive significant relationship was found between mothers and fathers 'marital adjustment and adolescents' general, home-parents and academic self-esteem levels. While there was no significant relationship between the mother's marital adjustment and the adolescent's social self-esteem level; A positive significant relationship was found between the marital adjustment of the father and the social self-esteem of the adolescent.
