Abstract
İran; binlerce yıllık geçmişi, çeşitli toplum yapısı ve dini değerleri ile Ortadoğu’nun kendine özgü yapısı olan ülkelerinden biridir. Bu nitelikleri onun geçmişte olduğu gibi yakın dönemde de dikkatleri üzerine çeken bir ülke olmasında etkili olmuştur. Özellikle yirminci yüzyılın ilk yarısı bu yönüyle ülke tarihinde derin izler bırakan bir süreç olmuştur. Bu çalışmada, iki büyük dünya savaşında ve bu iki savaş arası dönemde İran’da meydana gelen gelişmeler ele alınmıştır. Çalışmada kaynak olarak arşiv belgeleri ve literatürdeki muhtelif kaynaklar temel alınmıştır. Bu kaynaklardan hareketle İran’ın Birinci Dünya Savaşı’nda tarafsız olmasına rağmen işgalden kurtulamadığı görülmektedir. Ayrıca ülke bir yandan işgal edilirken bir yandan da salgın hastalık, kıtlık gibi afetlere maruz kalmıştır. Bunlarla birlikte iki savaş arası dönemde iktidarı elinde bulunduran Rıza Şah Pehlevi; milliyetçi, merkeziyetçi ve modernleşmeci bir politika izlemiştir. İktidarının son dönemlerinde patlak veren İkinci Dünya Savaşı ülkenin işgaline ve aynı zamanda onun tahtı oğlu Muhammed Rıza’ya bırakmasına sebep olmuştur.

Abstract
Persia; with thousand years past, several social structure and religious values is one of country in the Middle East which has its own idiocratic. These qulities of this country caused the spotlight on them in near time as it was happened in the past centuries. Especially in the first percent of twenty century has been deep affect to the history of the country. In this work, we take to discuss two big war and the evolvement which was happened in Persia between two wars. In this work as source based on archive documant and various in literature. With these source it could be seen, althought Iran was objective in world war one they couldn't escape occupation. Also, on the one hand the country under an occupation, on the other hand they pandamics, shortages and various disaster. With all of these the time of between two wars Reza Shah Pahlavi nationalitst who is potency to country got a political view of centralist and modernist. In the last times of his faculty when world war two taken place and caused occupation of the country at the same time it coused to he left his throne to his son Mohammad Reza Shah.
